hair diseases and hair loss

Men and women equally suffer from hair loss and in most cases the fear of going bald is high. Apart from aesthetics the search for the cause should be a primary concern, which could well be of a medical nature and may require medical treatment. We use modern diagnostic tools such as the TrichoScan method to find the cause of hair loss. In addition we have developed a thorough blood analysis which covers the major internal causes of hair loss.

TrichoScan is a computer-based method to analyse the status of the hair root and the hair thickness, which delivers repeatable results and also serves to monitor the progress of the hair loss as well as the success of the treatment. Once the cause of the hair loss has been identified, the necessary next treatment steps can commence. We use innovative modern treatment methods such as hair mesotherapy or the fractional laser treatment to stimulate the hair. While the former uses low dosage active ingredients which are injected into the scalp, the latter procedure stimulates the scalp with fractional infrared light. One of our latest treatment options is the combination of mesotherapy with PRP (platelet rich plasma). This procedure is reported to have major success in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia as well as alopecia areata.
